Subtropicals

Print Page

New Zealand enjoys a unique temperate climate suitable for growing a wide range of exciting subtropical fruits. Many were initially grown on a cottage, backyard industry basis but strong international demand has driven commercial production.

Our subtropical range includes tamarillos, passionfruit, feijoas, figs and persimmons. Freshmax offers all these subtropical fruits for sale in New Zealand and to all corners of the globe by air or seafreight services.
